British musician Eric Clapton has bought a €1.5 million home in Madeira.
The news was advanced by Correio da Manhã, who reported that the 79-year-old artist was in the Region in February this year to visit what became his new home.
According to the same publication, Eric Clapton’s property is a villa with panoramic views over Funchal, with a gross area of 506 m2, 1000 meters of land. The house is in a traditional style and has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a garage for ten cars, garden and a swimming pool. The property is said to be located in the parish of Santa Maria Maior, in the Bom Sucesso area.
The real estate agency advertised the residence in question as “a fantastic villa, located in a quiet area, with a lot of privacy and panoramic views over the bay of Funchal.”
