According to forecasts from the Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA), as of Thursday, “the weather in mainland Portugal will be influenced by a depression, with expression at altitude, centered over the Madeira region, moving to the northeast, promoting a circulation from the southern quadrant over the continent and the transport of dust originating in North Africa”.
A yellow alert has been issued for rain and possible thunderstorms for the archipelago from 13:00 to 22:00, tomorrow, the 6th of June.
