A car accident inside the Anadia car park nearly destroyed two vehicles and caused significant structural damage to the car park. An eyewitness told JM that the impact of the car on a wall in the parking lot was so great that many of the merchants and passers-by in the area thought a bomb had exploded.
According to the same eyewitness, a vehicle was entering the parking lot of CC Anadia, on the side of Rua Fernão Ornelas and Rua do Ribeirinho when, suddenly, it knocked down the barrier and violently crashed into the front wall at the entrance.
The impact of the vehicle was so forceful that it knocked a hole in the wall and wrote off two cars.
Luckily, no one was seriously hurt during the incident.
