The President of the Republic refused, a moment ago, to comment on the first projections of the elections in Madeira.
“We have to wait until we know the results. Whoever is competent to conduct the formation of the government, who is its representative of the Republic for the Autonomous Region of Madeira, exercises its functions, constituting that government. We have to wait”, he stressed.
According to statements shared by Notícias ao Minuto, when asked if he feels responsible for the “political swamp” in the Region, the President was peremptory: “Neither in the country, nor in the Azores or Madeira.”
