“This is all a lie, it does not correspond to the truth,” reacted the president of the Regional Government, when asked by JM reporters about a news article published in Correio da Manhã, that states that an account in the name of his wife for the amount of 170 thousand euros, was frozen after the mega anti-corruption case in Madeira erupted.
“What’s written doesn’t correspond to the truth. We don’t have any frozen accounts, nor has my wife tried to move any money. This is all fantasy,” he said.
He refused to be drawn into the argument any further.
