A car accident this afternoon in Campo da Barca, involving two cars which caused significant damage to one of the petrol pump installations.
As far as it was possible to ascertain, there are two injured and the emergency services were in attendence providing aid to the victims. Reports also stated that bloodstains were visible on the ground.
According to JM, due to the danger of explosion, several branches of the emergency services were involved including the Public Security Police, an extrication vehicle and team as well as five operational vehicles and fifteen firefighters from the Funchal Fire Brigade.
