Thomas Berndorfer is the new Austrian Honorary Consul in Madeira. The swearing-in ceremony was presided over by the Austrian Ambassador to Portugal, Christoph Meran, yesterday the 18th of March at the new Consulate headquarters located on Caminho de Santo António, no. 243, in Funchal.
Thomas Berndorfer, CEO and founder of Connecting Software has been living in Madeira since 2017. Berndorfer was born in Austria, where he started his entrepreneurial journey in 2004. Twenty years later, his company, Connecting Software, has its largest development hub in Madeira and boasts more than 350,000 users worldwide.
Thomas Berndorfer expressed his commitment to serving both Austrian residents and visitors to the island.
