The Regional Command of the Public Security Police of Madeira announced this week, the arrest of a 20-year-old man, born in Funchal, for drug trafficking.
“The arrest took place following an intervention by the PSP patrol in Rua das Fontes – Funchal and the suspect was identified as one of the participants in a disorder that had occurred moments before. When he noticed the police presence, given that he had already been arrested seven times before for trafficking, and was under house arrest, he was intercepted as he tried to run away. He was also caught with 12 individual doses of Hashish on him.
It should be noted that this was the 8th time he has been arrested, the last taking place on the 22nd of January.
Having been arrested so many times before, he will now remain in prison until he stands trial.
