Comet C/2022 E3 is crossing Earth’s sky for the first time in 50,000 years. The last time it was seen was when the Iberian Peninsula was inhabited by Neanderthals.
So after a 50 thousand years hiatus, comet C/2022 E3 will be able to be seen again by humans. What makes it so special is that it leaves a green trail behind it and that it will be visible to those living in Portugal during February.
