Renovation Work at Loja do Cidadão da Madeira

As of today, the 17th of January, there will be some constraints in the normal operation of the Loja do Cidadão da Madeira, due to the implementation of a new passive network infrastructure, within the scope of the ‘PRR AP Connect’ project, of the Regional Directorate of Informatics.

As of the 20th of January, the Loja do Cidadão da Madeira will be closed on Saturdays, for an estimated period of eight weeks.

During this same period, the service desks of the entities subject to the works to improve the passive network will be closed on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

“The work now underway is essential for the significant improvement of computer networks and services provided to citizens, as this investment will strengthen the quality of processes and align the Citizen’s Shop with the highest standards of technology and efficiency,” stated the Regional Secretariat for Finance.

During this period, the website of the Citizen’s Shop (https://lojacidadao.madeira.gov.pt/) will be a source of information on the operation and services that may be momentarily affected by this restructuring.

All work should be completed on the 11th of March when normal services will resume.
