HMS Scott broke down sailing near Madeira and eventually docked at the port of Caniçal to make the necessary repairs.
The Royal Navy ship “HMS Scott,” which can sail for 300 consecutive days, has been moored in the port of Caniçal for repair work and naturally has caused a lot of curiosity, especially due to its length of stay. The ship is scheduled to leave Caniçal port on Friday the 22nd of December.
The British Royal Navy’s ocean research vessel is the only ship of its class.
The ship was launched in 1997 to replace HMS Hecla.
