MadeiraShopping, in Funchal, has prepared a special agenda for the week of the 18th to the 22nd of December, which includes a series of daily early evening concerts, next to Santa’s House, on Floor 0.
The Divas da Madeira, a trio of soprano voices accompanied by the magic of the piano, kick off the festivities at 19:00 on Monday, with their unique interpretations of Christmas classics.
on Tuesday, Micaela Abreu, winner of Portugal’s Got Talent,, and virtuoso pianist Márcia Brito, provide a Christmas music session with songs both old and new.
The MusicMad Choir are already part of the Christmas of all Madeirans and, therefore, they could not miss this event. Made up of the powerful voices of the Estreito Choir Group, directed by conductor and soprano Maria Ferreira, the group will be at the shopping centre on December the 20th.
The good music continues on Thursday with a concert by Live Brisk, a musical project led by renowned pianist Sérgio Pão and singer Vânia Banganho. On this day, in addition to Christmas themes, they will be showcasing their own original Christmas songs.
This lively week ends with the performance of the Tiago Sena quartet, whose upbeat personalities will have everyone tapping their feet as they play a series of Christmas inspired music as well as other classics.
