On Friday the 15th of December at 19:00, the Agricultural School of Madeira will host its Christmas concert at the Conservatory – Professional School of the Arts of Madeira, in partnership with the Municipality of São Vicente.
The concert programme features a performance by ‘Unison de Cordas,’ who won first prize in the 2009 International Music Competition, Chamber Music category. The group consists of 10 student violinists, their teacher, and pianist/accompanist Tatiana Semenova.
Also performing are Combo 2+2, comprising of students attending the 1st and 3rd year of the Professional Course of Instrumental Jazz and comprises two guitarists, a double bass player, and a drummer. The repertoire consists of standards from the American songbook that span various eras of history, heritage, musical tradition, and jazz language.
The concert is free and open to everyone.
