Galp’s Christmas Initiative

Galp’s ‘Solidarity Energy’ programme has 50,000 gas cylinders available for delivery to economically vulnerable families, identified in the network of Private Social Solidarity Institutions that partner with ENTRAJUDA, who can exchange an empty Galp gas cylinder for a full gas cylinder (13 kg butane gas or 11 kg propane gas) free of charge.

This solidarity initiative, promoted by Galp in partnership with ENTRAJUDA, started in 2022 and aims to reduce the impact of increased energy costs on vulnerable families and the institutions that support them.

Since the beginning of the year, a total of 758 institutions from all districts of Portugal, located in 197 municipalities, have already been covered, which equates to some 20 thousand families.

Galp intends to deliver gas cylinders to a total of 50,000 families across the country, including the Autonomous regions of Madeira and the Azores.

Galp’s ‘Solidarity Energy’ programme is valid until the end of the year.
