The Juntos Pelo Povo Party (JPP) made available, today, more information about the tender for the Curral das Freiras Cable Car.
It was published on the Transparency Portal in https://juntospelopovo.pt/, the shareholder structure of the company Inspire Capital Atlantic – Sociedade de Investimento e Consultadoria, Lda., in https://juntospelopovo.pt/processo-teleferico-do-telefericocurralfreirascurral-das-freiras/.
With this, the JPP “undertakes to share with its fellow citizens, all relevant documentation, for objective and enlightening information of public opinion about this and all investments in which scrutiny is justified to safeguard the superior public interest.”
The party further recalls that this company was the winner of the International Public Tender for the Curral das Freiras Cable Car and will manage the infrastructure for 50 years with an optional 10 years option, an investment that has been shrouded in controversy since the beginning.
“This is an infrastructure of high technical complexity in execution, whose concession, with values not yet publicly disclosed with regard to the public component, will bring to the regional coffers only 1.4 million in income, at the end of sixty years,” concluded a spokesperson for the JPP.
