The PSD Parliamentary Group, through a vote of praise that was submitted to the Legislative Assembly, expresses its recognition for the “remarkable demonstration of Azorean solidarity” with Madeiran cattle breeders affected by the recent fires.
On the 4th of November, Casa da Madeira in the Azores, together with the Agricultural Association of São Miguel and GSLINES, promoted a collaboration protocol that will allow the transport, from the Azores to Madeira, of dozens of tonnes of food, including straw, grass, and feed.
“The solidarity of Azorean farmers, expressed in this donation, is, for the PSD, a clear example of the union of island communities, so important in delicate situations like this.”
