Kaos, one of the most exclusive yachts in the world docked in Funchal harbour today. The ship, managed by Atlantys Superyacht Services/Transinsular Madeira has docked in Madeira due to a a small technical issue.
The 110-metre yacht (nearly the size of the Porto Santo Ferry – 113m), belongs to billionaire Nancy Waltorn Laurie, a businesswoman, and heiress to the Walmart chain. It can carry 34 passengers and includes a helipad, a beach club with a jacuzzi, a large swimming pool, a gym, and a wide range of luxury services. The crew consists of 45 people and the suites are extremely spacious.
The charter price is not known, but it is estimated to be around 45 thousand euros per day on average during the low season.
