The President of the Regional Government promised that the coalition agreement between the PSD/CDS-PP coalition and the People-Animals-Nature Party (PAN) will provide stability for the future.
During the swearing in of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque thanked the leaders of the two parties, stating that the new executive “results from the popular will” and the “clear and expressive victory,” “transversal to all the municipalities of the Region.” He went on to say. “I assumed the convergence of objectives, rejecting extremism, and without questioning autonomy,” he said.
