The Conservatory Wind Orchestra will perform in the gardens of the Caves of São Vincente on Saturday, the 3rd of June at 19:30, with artistic direction by teacher and conductor Jorge Garcia Mendoza.
The Wind Orchestra was established in 1993, comprising of 48 members playing woodwind, percussion, piano, electric guitar, and electric bass guitar.
Its repertoire is essentially dedicated to the interpretation of original works and orchestrations specific to this type of orchestra including soundtracks, Jazz, Swing, and marches to name but a few.
They have participated in several events at the regional level and on radio and television programmes.
This event is in partnership between the Municipality of São Vicente and the Conservatory – Professional School of the Arts of Madeira and admission is free.
