The Pope yesterday confirmed his presence at the World Youth Day (WYD) in Lisbon, which will take place from the 1st – 6th of August.
As part of the preparations, approximately 100 students visited Holy Trinity Church (HTC), Funchal on Sunday the 23rd of April as part of ‘Hora WYD.’ The visit was part of a cultural and religious introduction to the city of Funchal, and HTC was asked to participate in the event and host a short talk about the church and the Anglican faith.
The visits were a success and included lively question and answer sessions.
