The Parish Council of Gaula has alerted its local population of a door-to-door scam in the locality.
According to the council a group of “unidentified individuals” are representing themselves as home security system salespeople.
The council left this warning:
“We recommend that you NEVER let anyone into your homes and always ask for the identification of these people, as well as the company they represent. They are scammers who, under the pretext of selling a home security system want to assess how easy it is to break into your home!”
