The Municipality of Funchal (CMF) has announced that as part of their traffic calming measures, the section between Caminho Dr. William Eduardo Clode and Caminho do Ribeirinho will be affected tomorrow, the 22nd of March, from 09:30 until 18:00.
Access to the garage alley and the parking lots of the Parish Council of Santo António and the Pingo Doce establishment, will be guaranteed from the junction with the Caminho do Ribeirinho.
As a road alternative, drivers must circulate along the Caminho do Ribeirinho, Caminho da Ladeira, and Rua 2 do Bairro das Casas Proximas.
Bus routes no. 8a, 10a, 43, 48, 81, and 92 must circulate through Caminho das Courelas, Rua Edmundo Bettencourt, Caminho da Ladeira and Caminho do Ribeirinho.
During this period, parking is prohibited on Rua 2 do Bairro das Casas Proximas, so any vehicles left parked on the road, will be towed as they will impede traffic circulation.
