Last week, the Firefighters Sappers of Funchal (BSF), were called in the early hours to Calçada Cabouqueira, São Pedro, to assist a man who had been assaulted.
The incident occurred at 03:18 when a 51-year-old foreign citizen was attacked and robbed while walking in the area. Despite his injuries, the man refused to go to hospital.
The PSP was called to the scene and are investigating the incident.
