The Ajuda a Alimentar Cães (Help to Feed Dogs), rescued two caged dogs living in horrific conditions in Santana.
Writing on their social media pages, a spokesperson for the association wrote:
“A lifetime living in these conditions. Both were living in separate cages with no clean water and no food. The dogs’ coats were matted as they were forced to sleep on their own feces. The smell was unbearable. One dog who was nicknamed Nevada cannot walk is listless and has suffered a lot. The second dog, Dudu, has very little coat due to flea infestations.”
Both animals were rescued by the Association Help to Feed Dogs, in the presence of the PSP of Santana.
As always, if anyone can help, please contact the association through their Facebook page as all the institutions are at breaking point.
