“Christmas safely” is the new awareness campaign of the Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM, through which the Office of Communication and Awareness will issue, every Friday in December, a promotional video with preventive safety recommendations related to the various activities typical of the holiday season.
Small gestures, such as turning off the Christmas tree lights, not leaving candles on, and being careful when launching fireworks, could result in a significant decrease in the number of occurrences that occurs at this time of year and, at the same time, contribute to making sure that we all have a happier and safer Christmas.
This campaign has the support and participation of SESARAM, EPERAM, the Regional Health Directorate, Regional Relief Operations Command, RAM Firefighters, and the Portuguese Red Cross.
