The Casa da Luz Museum, Funchal is hosting a new four-part exhibition called ‘Elements of ‘Photography, Representing the Universe and Celebrating Life,’ which involves photography, painting, video, and music.
The inauguration (which no date has been given), will be attended by some of the photographers represented, namely Ulli Schmeling, from Germany, Carlos Sousa, Alexandre Andrade, and Paulo Andrade from Portugal.
This international exhibition of photography is composed of works by 50 artists from 40 countries and will provide a chance to reflect on the vision of artists from United Photo Press, showing the importance of dialogue between art and other related areas so that we can broaden the reflection on new stories and new meanings to creative mixes.
The exhibition is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 18:00. The museum is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
