Casas com Histórias Celebrates European Heritage Day

The Associação Casas com Histórias, located in Rua do Quebra Costa 27 -29 (near English Church), will celebrate European Heritage Days 2022 until the 28th of October.

The exhibition, named “Sustainable Heritage,” aims to provide a musealisation and cultural dynamic experience through the work of Maria Brazão Sousa, using “materia, elements and amulets.”

Maria Brazão Sousa (Funchal 1995), has a degree in Design from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague – KABK (2017-2021) and in Art History from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon (2013-2016). In 2018 she participated in the group exhibition ”Rethinking Bauhaus” at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and in 2019 in the group exhibition ”Mother Tongue Perspectives on Food and Society” at The Gray Space in The Middle in The Hague. In 2021 her work “Atlas of The Meticulous World of Being” was part of the collective exhibition “Push-Button” Alémmar Contemporary Art at the Ponta do Sol inn.

This free exhibition is open from 4 pm to 7 pm Monday to Friday.
