Book of Condolences For Her Majesty The Queen

With so many touching tributes being offered to the late Queen Elizabeth II, including some who refer to her as ‘Elizabeth the Great,’ Holy Trinity Church in Funchal has announced that it will be open
every day until the 19th of September for private prayer, reflection, and for those who would like to sign the book of condolences.

Services will be held at 11 am on Sunday the 18th of September.

“Grief is the price we pay for love,” the late monarch said on the death of her husband, Prince Philip last year, and this year, we grieve over the death of our beloved monarch and steadfast rock, whose death has affected millions of lives.  Grief may be the pain we suffer for love, but grief shows that we can and are capable of love, and although so many of us are grieving, she will always cast an ever shining light in our hearts, that like her smile, will never grow dim.

Holy Trinity Church is located in Rua Quebra Costas, Funchal (Near the La Vie Shopping Centre).
