A scooter parking area, installed in the private area of a building in Funchal, is generating protests on the part of residents, who have expressed their surprise at the new ‘commercial business’ on their front doorstep of the Centromar building, on Rua do Porto da Cruz.
Indignant at the situation, one resident asked the company that manages the condominium, to explain the situation, as none of the owners in the building were consulted about the proposed parking area. Talking to JM, the citizen said that if the Municipality have agreed this, then they have made a big mistake! But if it is the company, then they are being ‘abusive’ and not recognising the rights of all those in the building.
