The works carried out within the scope of the ‘CreativeBags’ project, promoted by the Social Security Institute of Madeira, through the Activities and Training Centre for Inclusion of Funchal (CACI Funchal), will be presented on Thursday the 30th of June, at 15:30, at the La Vie shopping centre, which will be attended by Rita Andrade, the Regional Secretary for Social Inclusion and Citizenship.
Under the motto ‘Empowering through the creative process’, and using various techniques, the ‘CreativeBags’ project promotes the use of imagination, symbolism and metaphors, enriching the training process developed by the CACI of Funchal, in valuing people with disabilities artistic skills, culminating in the creation of bags of different sizes with their own unique design.
From the 4th to the 6th of July, there will be an exhibition and sale of works.
