It’s been another chaotic day in Pico do Areeiro.
Complaints, mainly presented by tourist guides and drivers are coming in thick and fast, and although nothing new, the extremely conditioned traffic along Madeira’s hotspots is proving more difficult as the season progresses.
One of the main problems is parking, which has become so erratic that bus drivers are saying they are struggling to turn their vehicles round as people are parking wherever they see a space, and remain unconcerned that their vehicles are causing an obstruction.
