Seconded to the parish of Tililngdon, the Reverend Dolores has been presented with a challenge.

She’s living in an antiquated house and she’s cold. Furthermore, her new Bishop, Bishop Alice does not approve of ‘showgirls in dog collars.’

Determined to prove the Bishop wrong, she sets about warming her house – who cares if it smells of horse! There is the crochet club, jumble sale, and soup run to organise. And this year, the church bells will ring, no matter what threats are made. Even more so, the newly formed choir will spread a little joy this Christmas, even though they can’t sing – yet! And with a little help from Phil, her bassist, this year could be full of magic.

However, she has a fight on her hands as the townies out in Knob Hill – she must stop calling it that, are trying to stop her from ringing her bells. When Krystal with a K decides to do some volunteer work, Dolores sets out to see just how committed she really is.

Up to her ears in granny squares and squawking choristers, Dolores is revving up for Christmas, yet a deeper darker secret is beginning to emerge!

A secret that could blow the whole parish apart and put Dolores in danger.

ARM – Águas e Resíduos da Madeira, SA, has issued a statement confirming their Easter rubbish collection service in Câmara de Lobos, Machico, Porto Santo, Ribeira Brava and Santana during the Easter period.

WASTE COLLECTION:

There will be no collection of waste in these municipalities on the 15th of April, Good Friday.

Machico

The collection of selective paper/cardboard waste (blue recycling bin), usual on Friday (April 15th) will be brought forward to Thursday (April 14th), starting at 9 am;
The collection of undifferentiated waste (normal garbage), usual on Friday (April 15) will be postponed to Saturday (April 16), starting at 8 am;

Santana

The collection of selective paper/cardboard waste (blue recycling bin), usual on Friday (April 15th) will be brought forward to Wednesday (April 13th), starting at 9 am;
The collection of undifferentiated waste (normal waste), usual on Thursday (April 14) will be brought forward to Wednesday (April 13), starting at 9 am;
The collection of undifferentiated waste (normal waste), usual on Friday (April 15th) will be brought forward to Thursday (April 14th), starting at 8 am;

Câmara de Lobos and Ribeira Brava

The collection of undifferentiated waste (normal garbage), usual on Friday (April 15) will be postponed to Saturday (April 16), starting at 8 am.

Porto Santo

The selective collection of plastic and metallic packaging (yellow recycling bin), usual on Thursday (April 14) will be brought forward to Wednesday (April 13), starting at 8 am;
The selective collection of paper/cardboard packaging waste (blue recycling bin), usual on Thursday (April 14) will be brought forward to Wednesday (April 13), starting at 1 pm;
The collection of undifferentiated waste (normal garbage), usual on Friday (April 15th) will be postponed to Saturday (April 16th), starting at 07:00;

RECEPTION OF WASTE:

Regarding the reception of waste, it is reported that on 6th Feira Santa (April 15) the East Zone Transfer and Sorting Station of Madeira Island, the Porto Santo Solid Waste Processing Center (CPRS) and the Meia Serra Solid Waste Treatment Plant (ETRS) will be closed.

The Porto Santo Solid Waste Processing Center (CPRS) will also be closed on Thursday (April 14th).

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Please note that the ARM service desks will be closed between April 14th and 16th, reopening to the public on Monday, April 18th.
