Fourteen chocolatiers, including members from the Madeira Hotel and Tourism School and the Madeira Barmen Association, are participating in the Chocolate Market which started today in the new ‘events space’ located in the Mercado dos Lavradores.
The initiative, promoted by the municipality of Funchal, is open until the 14th of April, where a wide variety of chocolate, sweets and cakes including, brigadiers, donuts, Easter eggs, rabbits and chickens, among other things are on sale.
This is a brilliant opportunity to support local entrepreneurs who do not sell their products from a physical shop but only from their online platforms.
