The Regional Government of Madeira today authorised the launch of the public tender for the design and creation of the 2022/2023 end of year firework show, worth €1.1 million.
The budget was published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM), with 55,000 euros to be paid this year and the remaining amount in 2023, as per the ordinance, signed by the Regional Secretary for Finance, Rogério Gouveia.
The public tender for pyromusical, multimedia and circus shows has also been launched, within the scope of the Atlantic Festival 2022. This concession, has a base value of 298,000 euros, and was published on Monday in the Diário da República.
The preliminary Saturday firework displays, which are usually held in June will take place this year, after being cancelled for the last two years due to the pandemic.

Value was published this Wednesday in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The published decree authorizes the distribution of budget charges related to the public tender for the design of the fireworks show for the New Year’s Eve 2022/2023, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, in the total amount of € 1,100,000.00 .
“The budgetary charges related to the public tender for the design of the fireworks show for the New Year’s Eve 2022/2023, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, in the total amount of € 1,100,000.00 (one million and one hundred thousand euros)”, says JORAM.
