Diogo Serrão has been missing from his home in Bairro das Malvinas, Câmara de Lobos, since Sunday morning.
Several appeals have been launched on social media platforms, as his family are desperate to find him, especially as he left home only wearing a blue t-shirt, coloured shorts and a pair of white trainers. Furthermore, the young man suffers from psychological problems, and needs to take his medication regularly.
Diogo Serrão’s cousin, Carlos Caires, categorically stated that that his cousin has never given any indications of wanting to run away, and that he has never done anything like this before. His family are desperately worried, as they fear he may have become disorientated, which will exacerbate his psychological condition, preventing him from returning home on his own.
His mother, Paula, has told the police that Diogo was going out to meet some friends, and that this was the last time she saw him.
