This morning, lightning struck the Meia Serra Solid Waste Treatment Station.
Technicians from the company Águas e Resíduos da Madeira (ARM), were arrived quickly on the scene to try and solve the problems caused by the electrical discharge, and were hoping to have everything up and running by this afternoon.
Despite the constraints, it was business as usual.
