The Calheta City Council will hold its annual cat/dog rabies vaccination and electronic chipping campaign, between the 26th of March and the 2nd of April. The service is free, but registration is mandatory and limited by parish. Those interested in joining the campaign can make an appointment on weekdays, between 10 am and 3 pm, by calling 291 820 200.
The initiative will take place in the following parishes.
26th of March:
Ponta do Pargo (9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the Parish Council).
Prazeres (9:00 – 12:30 in the Football Field).
Fajã da Ovelha (11:00 am – 12:30 pm at the Parish Council).
Jardim do Mar (2:15 pm – 3:00 pm at the Parish Council).
Paul do Mar (3:15 pm – 5:30 pm at the Football Field).
Estreito da Calheta (3:00 pm – 5:30 pm at the Parish Council )..
On the 2nd of April:
Arco da Calheta (9h00 – 12h00 in the Arco da Calheta car park).
Calheta(9h00 – 11h30 at the Parish Council).
All attendees must arrive at the scheduled time, comply with Covid-19 health and safety measures, bring their pet(s), and all associated documentation (Citizen Card/BI, Taxpayer Card, Animal Vaccination Bulletin and proof of address).
