From the 5th of March, all vaccines will be administered at local health centres.
In a statement, the Regional Director of Health, Herberto Jesus, confirmed that 91% of the population has now been vaccinated, and as such, it was time for local health centres to take on the role.
The Technopolo Vaccination Centre will be deactivated, and all vaccines will be administered through the Bom Jesus Health Centre. However, appointments will have to be made in advance.
However, the decision has sparked some concern, as many are worried about parking, and access to and from the centre.
