Yesterday a rockfall occurred in Calheta, at the same place where a young cook died on the 19th February 2019.
The situation is somewhat blurred, as although the incident was being monitored by the Civil Protection, one source reported that only a small rock fell and that there were no injuries or material damage, while an eye witness stated that although there were no injuries, a rock narrowly missed a couple who were sitting inside their car.
Furthermore, residents are concerned that there are no appropriate danger notices in the area.
