A tourist who picked up a ‘partner’ yesterday evening/this morning (Sunday), was brutally attacked in his hotel room.
According to a police source, a Public Security Police (PSP), were called out to a hotel located on Avenida do Infante at 5 am this morning, to take care of an incident between two men. The attack took place in the hotel room, where the 26-year-old tourist was hit in the head and face by his companion, who then fled the scene.
Luckily, the aggressor was caught and identified by the PSP, while the victim was initially treated by a pre-hospital team from the Portuguese Red Cross and then transported to A & E.
