A 74-year-old Scottish tourist had to be rescued yesterday afternoon.
The individual, who was walking between Prazeres and Jardim do Mar, began to experiece difficulties and cramp in his legs and was rescued by officers from the Calheta Volunteer Firefighters.
Once he was back to safety, the man rejected any further intervention or medical care.
