The weather over Madeira has been different to say the least, with thunderstorms in Porto Moniz, flooding in Santana and the south of the island being coated in dust, and subject to strong winds; gusts which today reached 58 km/h, although it felt a lot worse in Caminho dos Pretos this morning.
However, this is all going to change as a new weather depression is set to hit the island tomorrow, bringing with it thunderstorms and rain and will remain in situ for approximately 3 days.
With regards to the dust cloud, this is set to remain until the end of the week, although it will become weaker.
