Drones from the Civil Protection Regional Service were used today alongside the Public Security Police, Mountain Search, Rescue, Relief Brigade (BBSSRM), as they continued their search for Lúcia Freitas, who has been missing for almost a week.
The Municipal Firefighters of Machico are also carrying out searches in the Porto da Cruz area, in conjunction with the PSP BBSSRM, Municipal Firefighters of Machico and Civil Protection. In addition, Lúcia Freitas family are also actively looking for her, and currently searching streams and uninhabited houses, while others have searched along the levadas and mountain areas of Porto da Cruz.
