The Volunteer Firefighters of Santana mountain rescue team, rescued a 40-year-old woman in the early hours of this morning at Fajã Alta, São Jorge. The woman had fallen approximately 10 metres.
No further details are available as yet.
A CID team of the Public Security Police (PSP), are currently investigating the death of a man who fell 20 metres yesterday in Corticeiras, in Jardim da Serra. The body remained in situ until the team had finished their investigations, before being transported to the morgue.
