The Government Council met today at Quinta Vigia, and decided to extend the current ‘State of Contingency’ until the end of the month.
They later issued a statement saying:
“To maintain the current rules for controlling the pandemic, it has been decreed that the contingency situation in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, under the Regional Legislative Decree no. of public health will come into effect from 0:00 on the 16th of January 2022 until 23:59 on the 31st of January 2022.”
