Tomorrow, the 14th of October, Garrison No. 3 Regiment will be carrying out a number of military exercises in the parish of Ponta do Pargo, namely the area around the Ponta do Pargo Lighthouse, between 10:00 and 18:00.
For security reasons, the surrounding maritime and land areas will be closed, and warning/clarification systems will be set up in the vicinity to provide any information. Furthermore, the exercises will be noisy at times, due to gunfire and ammunition discharges.
Therefore, the Madeira Military Zone asks everyone to leave any artefacts/ammunition that may may find alone, and report the incident immediately to the Public Security Police (PSP), or to the Garrison No. 3 Regiment, on:
