A man, allegedly armed with a knife, robbed the CTT post in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos this afternoon.
The robbery took place at 14:30, when a man demanded money with menaces. It is believed that tellers handed over several thousand euros to the assailant.
Unfortunately, there are no other details at the moment, and when local newspaper, JM, contact CTT’s administration office they were told that the situation was being handled by the competent authorities, and that they were not at liberty to discuss the situation further.
The case is now being dealt with by the Judicial Police.
