The Funchal City Council (CMF), has announced that traffic restrictions will be in force this week.
September 13th – 16th – Resurfacing of Rua do Campo do Marítimo (Santo António), between Estrada Comandante Camacho de Freitas and the roundabout of Álamos. During this time it is expressly forbidden to park vehicles on Rua do Campo do Marítimo.
September 14th: From 09.30 the connection of residual and rainwater networks, works under the responsibility of the DIE – Department of Infrastructure and Equipment, will take place along Rua do Matadouro (Santa Luzia).
September 14: Car traffic will also be restricted from Rua Velha da Ajuda (São Martinho) to Travessa da Ajuda – in the direction of Câmara de Lobos- Funchal – for the construction of a box and the laying of pipelines. These works will be carried out for a period of 45 days.
September 16th: Traffic will be restricted along Rua de São Francisco (Sé) between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm due to tree pruning.
