At 5 pm this evening, the vice-president of the Regional Government, Pedro Calado, met with representatives from the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) – the largest commercial cruise association in the world – who are visiting the Region to observe that all the necessary adjustments have been made to ensure that the ports and marinas of Madeira are safe.
In a statement made later this evening, Pedro Calado said that one of the solutions under discussion is the creation of a regional circuit between Madeira, the Canaries and the Azores.
