According to the Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea, this Christmas season will be accompanied by periods of rain or downpours.
Starting from tomorrow, the 23rd of December, light showers are expected while these are expected to become heavier on Christmas day. Although significant amounts of rain are not expected, the weather is expected to remain wet and windy until the 26th. Strong winds of up to 60 – 70 km/h are expected along coastal regions and up to 80 – 90 km/h in mountainous areas.
